The RCIS Science Dinner
On April 20 2017, the Royal Canadian Institute for Science (RCIS) presents its 12th annual Science Dinner. This unique event brings people from the corporate, government and academic sectors who share our vision of an informed public that embraces science to build a stronger Canada.
The Science Dinner gathers a diverse group of 200 Canadians together to talk science while enjoying good food and wine. Not a traditional ‘Gala’, we promote conversation at both a pre-dinner reception and during the dinner itself. Conversation with fascinating science people — researchers, communicators, policy makers and entrepreneurs.
We gather hosts for each table, 25 in all, from universities, colleges, government and private companies from all over Ontario. These Hosts represent some of the most exciting research and best communicators in Canada. We have welcomed future Nobel and Gairdner Laureates, NSERC Prize winners and astronauts as table hosts, and welcome suggestions from our partners for table hosts they would like to see at the Dinner.
Our list of Table Hosts will be available shortly! Check back soon.
