The Air We Breathe: The Significance of Carbon Dioxide Monitoring

  • Toronto Reference Library - Hinton Theatre (3rd Floor) 789 Yonge Street Toronto, ON M4W 2G8 Canada (map)

Understand the science behind indoor air quality and the significance of ventilation during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Discover the role carbon dioxide monitor lending programs and citizen science can play.

The Community Access to Ventilation Information (CAVI) team have spearheaded a campaign to support carbon dioxide monitor lending programs in public libraries. But what role does indoor air quality play in relation to the ongoing pandemic? How can carbon dioxide monitors help? What are their limitations? And what can we do with the data we accumulate? Find out in this panel discussion delivered in partnership with the Toronto Public Library.

Please note this is an indoor event. Masks are optional but strongly recommended. And yes, we will be using carbon dioxide monitors to monitor ventilation…
