Your host for this interactive evening is Martin Laforest, scientific outreach advisor to the Institute for Quantum Computing and quantum technology expert at ISARA Corporation.  Officially, Martin's role is to bring science out of the lab and into people’s lives. Unofficially, he is the talkative guy who is passionate about quantum technologies and likes to share it with curious minds.

Martin has always been fascinated with trying to understand how the world works. That led him to earn an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics at McGill University and later, a PhD in quantum physics from the University of Waterloo.

Admission is free but spaces are limited - register now to reserve your spot. Beer flights will be available for purchase.

Presented in partnership with the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing.
