Brigid Christison takes us on a prehistoric adventure to explore the evolution of carnivorous mammals, including our BFFFFFs cats & dogs!
Brigid is a palaeontologist and palaeo-historian based in Ottawa, Canada. She recently obtained a masters’ degree at Carleton University, where her thesis examined the niche dynamics of Eocene carnivores. Her research so far has focused on niche interactions between carnivorans and creodonts in North America. Brigid has completed historical work on the first dinosaur fossils to be scientifically collected in Canada, as well as on the first Canadian women to become professional geologists. She is the founder of PalaeoPoems.com, a poetry anthology blog that tracks down historical and modern poetry about fossils and encourages people to write their own.
