Illustrator and science communicator Michelle Ku kicks of Nutrition Month with a look at the impact of flaxseed on gut microbiota.
During her MSc research, Michelle examined how sources of high-fibre impact the presence of gut bacteria when combined with other molecular compounds found in flaxseed, such as lignans and phytoestrogens.
Michelle is also an illustrator and science communicator who enjoys reimagining scientific topics and themes in creative visual ways.
