Thank you for helping to make 2019 a very successful year! We close out this decade looking quite different than we did in 2010. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us through all of these changes, and welcome everyone who joined along the way!

In 2019 RCIScience turned 170, hosted 4,500 people at events and another 4,800 on YouTube. We held 45 events in 6 cities. And we published the second edition of RCIScience Magazine, featuring articles written by students and recent-graduates.

Several programs sold out, attracting attendees that told us they would not normally attend a science-focussed event. 2020 is looking even better as new program venues, formats and locations come online.

Thank you to the RCIScience Board for enabling these changes while respecting the Institute's 170-year legacy. Thanks also to all of the organizations and individuals who provide financial and in-kind support.

I would also like to recognize the hard work of our Programs Manager, Carrie Boyce, who has been instrumental in this success. And also our regional Event Coordinators, Jenessa Doherty (Waterloo) and Celia Du (Mississauga/Markham), and Program Ambassadors, Helle Tosine (Ottawa) and Alyne Teixeira (Halifax), who are helping make our national dream come true.

We are excited for 2020 and hope that you will continue to support RCIScience as we work to build a community of science supporters across Canada.
